As a wedding photographer, it is always a pleasure to capture the magic and beauty of a couple’s special day. Recently, I had the honor of photographing a wedding that took place at Le Clos de Lorraine, a stunning wedding venue nestled in the heart of the French countryside. The couple, a French bride and German groom, exchanged vows in the charming Little Chapelle in a religious ceremony, and their reception was filled with heartfelt speeches and joyous celebrations.
Le Clos de Lorraine – A Picturesque Wedding Venue
Le Clos de Lorraine is a picturesque wedding venue that boasts sprawling vineyards, elegant gardens, and a charming chapel. The rustic charm and timeless elegance of the property make it the perfect location for a romantic and unforgettable wedding.
The Wedding Day
The day began with the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids in one of the stunning suites on the property. I captured candid moments of the bride as she got her hair and makeup done, and the bridesmaids helping her get dressed. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, with lots of laughter and excitement as the bride prepared for her special day.
The groom and his friends were getting ready in another part of the property. I captured candid moments of them having beers and sharing stories, creating a laid-back and fun atmosphere.
Religious Ceremony in the Little Chapelle
The ceremony took place in the intimate Little Chapelle on the property. The chapel is a cozy space, with beautiful stained-glass windows and an altar adorned with fresh flowers. The couple had chosen to have a religious ceremony, which added a meaningful and spiritual touch to the day.
I captured candid moments of the guests arriving at the chapel, as well as moments of the couple exchanging their vows and rings. The ceremony was filled with emotion and love, and I was able to capture some truly beautiful moments that the couple will cherish for a lifetime.
Drone Group Shot During Cocktail
During the cocktail hour, I used my drone to capture a group shot of all the guests. The drone allowed me to capture an aerial view of the stunning property and the guests mingling and enjoying the cocktails. It was a unique and fun way to capture the guests and the atmosphere of the wedding.
Heartfelt Speeches and Joyous Celebrations
The highlight of the reception was the heartfelt speeches delivered by the couple’s loved ones. There were tears, laughter, and cheers as family and friends expressed their love and support for the newlyweds. I captured candid moments of the couple’s reactions, as well as shots of the speakers delivering their heartfelt messages.
The atmosphere was joyous and celebratory, with lots of dancing and merriment as the night went on. I was able to capture candid moments of the guests mingling and enjoying themselves, as well as moments of the couple sharing their first dance.
