Last month, J&V trusted me to be the photographer of their wedding. It will take place next Octobre in Huncherange. For their engagement session, J&V chose the city of Luxembourg. We started late enough in the afternoon so that we would be able to shoot some photos by night. The couple had indeed brought a heart-shaped-candle that they wanted to light up in order to symbolize their love for each other.
A stroll through the Grund
It’s always nice to walk along the Alzette river as it is peaceful and quiet, even on a weekend when they are so many tourists around. This way we can chat and start getting each other a bit more.
As we were passing by the Neimënster Abbey, the security guard offered to let us inside the court and take a few photos ! That was a nice find as I had never been there before.
Heart-shaped candle: an original idea for the engagement session
In order to symbolize their love, the bride and groom had chosen to light up candle together. It was not dark yet so that turned out to be a great opportunity for us to head inside a pub and drink a few beers before coming out at night 🙂
Photo session ending on the Guillaume II place
We ended the engagement session with some photos on the Guillaume II place. At this time of the day it was pretty much deserted and it was therefore easier to isolate the couple on the photos. Street lights are very suitable for romantic photos, aren’t they ?
Thanks to J&V for this nice evening. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding coming up soon !
